Municipal President Atenea Gómez Ricalde officially presented the artistic lineup and general program of the “Soy Isla Mujeres” Carnival 2026, one of the most anticipated festivities for island families and tourists.
The announcement took place during a press conference at Cocos Restaurant, where it was emphasized that this edition of the carnival was designed as an inclusive, safe, and family-oriented event, featuring high-level shows and a program created for all segments of the population.
Official dates of the Soy Isla Mujeres Carnival 2026
- Continental Zone (Ciudad Mujeres): from Friday, February 6 to Sunday, February 8, 2026,
at the parking area of Plaza Ejidatarios. - Island Zone (Isla Mujeres): from Thursday, February 12 to Tuesday, February 17, 2026,
at the Municipal Esplanade and the Bicentennial Dome.
Isla Mujeres Carnival 2026 artistic lineup – Continental Zone
In the Continental Zone, the Isla Mujeres Carnival 2026 will feature musical performances that combine national and regional talent:
- Friday, February 6 – Coronation Gala: La Sonora Santanera with María Fernanda.
- Saturday, February 7 – Rodeo of Joy Night: La Fortuna Norteño Banda.
- Sunday, February 8 – Magical Jungle Night: Viry Primera, La Hija del Pulpo, and
Banda La Poderosa de Roly López.
Isla Mujeres Carnival 2026 artistic lineup – Island Zone
For the Island Zone, the artistic program was designed for audiences of all ages, combining children’s shows, musical performances, and large-scale productions:
